Allouez Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

On April 29, 2017, the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) will coordinate a Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative throughout Wisconsin. The Prescription Drug Take-Back Day goal is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal of prescription medications, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of these medications. Unused prescription medications in homes create a public health and safety concern, because they can be accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, and abused.

In coordination with the Brown County Drug Task Force and the WI Department of Justice, the Village of Allouez will be accepting unused/unwanted prescriptions and over the counter medications for proper disposal.

When:        Saturday April 29th 10:00A.M.-2:00P.M.
Where:       Allouez Village Hall
                    1900 S. Libal St.
                    Green Bay, WI 54301

Please contact Directed Enforcement Officer Jason Vogel at (920)448-2800 Ext. 109 or by e-mail vogel_jp@co.brown.wi.us with any questions.
