2022 Allouez Mid-Winter Family Skate Night

Frenzy on the Fox 2022

 

The 5th Annual Frenzy on the Fox is back in person! Join us on Friday, 1-21-22 for a night celebrating recreation in winter on the Fox River Trail and CityDeck. Come ready to walk, run or bike any distance you choose down the trail. We will have music, refreshments and fun located at the turnaround point for those hoping to complete a 5K (feel free to continue along the trail past this point, or turn around before). We will have a simple check in process on the CityDeck where you can pick up your hat and glow sticks. The fun begins at 6:00 for runners (and bikers) and walkers will start at 6:05.

Register before January 2 for the discounted price AND to guarantee a Frenzy on the Fox stocking cap the night of the event! Registration also includes refreshments and glow sticks.

2022 Valentine's Senior Dinner & Dance

This 15th annual event is presented by the Allouez, Howard, and Suamico Recreation/Leisure Services Departments. Whether you choose to dance the night away, listen to the wonderful entertainment by TJ and Lynn or socialize with friends and other members of the community, you are sure to have a great time!

Enjoy a family style dinner with all the fixings and bring your valentine or come with friends or neighbors! A cash bar will be available, all those registered will receive five raffle tickets.

**Additional raffle basket tickets will be sold if you choose to participate.

For an accurate food count please register no later than Friday, February 7, 2022.

CLASSES TAUGHT BY: Ellipse Fitness

Bootcamp for Everyone is, well, a bootcamp that can be completed by everyone! Join us for a workout that will challenge you, no matter your level of fitness and/or experience, as we work through scalable total-body exercises that will have that perfect balance of heart-pumping cardio, strength, mobility and agility.  We’ll use a variety of tools and toys to round out this fun and high-energy format!  

Class is open to all fitness levels!

This class is scalable for beginner to novice.  A personal trainer will be with you guiding and assisting throughout your workout.  

Equipment needed: Please bring a mat for any floor work, sweat towel, fitness clothes/shoes, and water.

Equipment will be provided, but if you are welcome to bring any weights, band, or tubes from home that you may be used to using and would like to learn more exercises for.

These classes will be hosted by Heather Trevarthen, owner of Ellipse Fitness for the past 13 years. As a long-time certified personal and group fitness trainer, she has worked with almost every fitness level, body type, and limitation. She would love to help get you moving well and feeling better!

Water Customer – Notice of Rate Increase

 

This is a reminder that the Village of Allouez underwent a water rate study in 2021. The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin authorized updated water rates with an effective date of January 1st, 2022. The increase in rates will first appear on your February bill which accounts for January water usage.

In addition, the Village is currently undergoing a study of rates charged for sanitary sewer. While this analysis is not yet complete, it is anticipated that sanitary sewer rates will also increase. Questions, please contact the Allouez Water Department (920) 448-2808. Thank you.

Green Isle Ice Rink Now Open

 

The Green Isle Ice Rink is officially open and ready for use. This years ice rink is located on the south end of the park near the softball diamond and 172.

 

A big Thanks to our park staff for putting in a lot of time and effort into getting this rink up and ready!

 

The ice rink is open from 8am-8:30pm daily. There is an automatic light that will turn on at 4:30pm and off at 8:30pm nightly.
