NEED TO TAKE A BREAK?

As you are stopping by the Allouez Village Hall to pay your water bill and sign up for activities, you may need a little “pick me up”. If so, just take a stroll into the board room while you are there!

The Allouez Community Center Painters have an ongoing art exhibit guaranteed to make you smile! They are a fun loving, supportive group of seniors who love to paint with watercolor. Some of them have been painting for years, and some are just beginning to explore the medium. You may even discover that one of your neighbors is a talented artist!

The painters get together once a week at the Allouez Community Center, as a senior activity sponsored by the Village of Allouez. They are delighted to present some of their creations to you, and hope to brighten your day!

Thank you Crossing Guards

Wisconsin’s adult crossing guards provide an invaluable service by helping our children cross busy streets every school day.

They do their job in all types of weather, and endure split shifts and dangerous traffic.

Their service has helped to drive down the number of pedestrian deaths and injury, even though traffic volume continues to increase.

They safely cross hundreds of children each week at multiple locations in Allouez.

Please wave and say “thanks” next time you see one of our guards.

And remember to slow down and drive attentively and safely whenever children,(and Crossing Guards), are around.
