Zoning Code Open House

Come join us for the Zoning Code Open House on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Village Hall (1900 Libal Street). No formal presentation will be given, so feel free to come and go as you please and ask representatives questions about the draft!

The Plan Commission began rewriting the Village Zoning Code in 2018, with the help of Duncan and Codametrics. This project is following years of research and discussion of how to address the existing outdated code, which was originally written in 1972. A new zoning code will align with our goals identified in our Comprehensive Plan and streamline development, while protecting the character and charm of Allouez.

If you have specific questions, please contact Trevor Fuller, Planning and Zoning Administrator, at 920-448-2800 ext. 134 or trevor@villageofallouez.com

  1. Allouez has a several hundred year history of unique architecture from the Native Americans through the territorial settlement era down through the 20tieth century with historic brick Tudors and wonderful Modern design homes. Let's carefully consider our future zoning and oversite of the development of large spaces. Follow De Pere's example of renewal and growth. Some of the recent growth is neither attractive nor indicative of a prosperous, historic, progressive village which can look to the future.
