Village of Allouez Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan Public Comment

 

The Village of Allouez has been working on an update to its Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) over the last four months.  The CORP is a guiding document designed to assist the community in planning and developing parks, recreation, trails, and open spaces which needs to be updated every five years. 

This plan establishes park related goals and objectives, inventories existing park and recreation facilities, customizes recommendations by gathering and incorporating public input, and prioritizes future improvements and projects for village parks, trails, and recreation sites.  This plan will also allow the village to be eligible to receive state and federal grant funding for park and trail projects.

Click on the link to view a copy of the latest draft plan 2022-2026 Village of Allouez CORP Plan.  The village will accept comments on the plan until October 17^th, 2021 via email at the office of the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry at chrisc@villageofallouez.com prior to village adoption of the plan.
